I got home from work and have spent the past couple of hours trying to empty my brain... so I turned to Facebook to catch up on things I'm missing. I get more depressed actually because instead I feel more disconnected. I know, I'm weird. Then I tried to get caught up on your blog. SAD THAT I HAD TO GO BACK A FRIGGIN' MONTH!!! But I'm so happy I did because now that video was the perfect thing to make me smile. It has been such a tough few weeks/months. Thank you for the reminder of the little things that make it all worthwhile and for giving me a glimpse inside from all the way over here. I know I promised that I'd be back for a visit much sooner and that was months ago. I'm going to bed now as I have work again tomorrow. I love and miss each of you and send hugs from bleary-eyed me in NY. Oh, and by the way, I called the house this evening and left you a message on FB but still want to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SISTA! Wish I was there to celebrate with you. Cake when we get together again? Hope you accept rainchecks. K... tears are rollin' again. It's one of those nights. (I made the mistake of reading your letter to Eric. You broke the dam.) Time to wet the pillow. Night.
